someone please explain to me

why some people find it necessary to ALWAYS have their gps turned on and stuck to their windshield. i have a gps, but i only use it when necessary…and i don’t even use the big suction cup to put it on my windshield. do people not know how to get to and from work? do they just like to look at the super bright lights and arrows that track where they are currently located? help me out here please!
