i finished house sitting today, so i have my laptop at work. our work computers are super restricting. we can’t access a plethora of websites, stream anything, etc. the people who have laptops can’t even put in a jump drive without it being encrypted. you can only search for a printer if you are hooked up to the network.
there is a job i want to apply for, but they are only...
i have stumbled upon an acquaintance’s tumblr. we have mutual friends, but never hang out…or talk for that matter. we just know each other. BUT! she writes about mutual friends and things that are of general interest. this is kind of even better than a public facebook profile!

all my albums are set to “friends only” in the privacy settings. my understanding was that only MY friends could see my pictures. i signed into facebook this morning and had 10 notifications. a girl i am friends with had tagged people (that i am not friends with) in some of my pictures. if my albums are set to “friends only”, how are the people i am not friends with...

she has had major surgery two times this week and is in ccu. there is nothing more heartbreaking than seeing your grandfather crying over your grandmother’s hospital bed. nothing.
today i went to the carwash
driving down the road 10 minutes later, i got behind a brine truck…it was putting brine on the road AND MY CAR! so, in the span of one hour, i went through two carwashes…ugh!
regarding the amazon gift card from living social:
i never got my confirmation email, so i just logged into my account. it has a link on there that takes you to amazon so you can load your $20 gift card :)
things i do not particularly appreciate while...
songs with sirens in them. no one likes to hear sirens while driving.

i run into an ex at a bar. he was with his gf of over a year, and she looks like a toddler.
him: hey! happy new year! this is [redacted], my girlfriend.
me: hey! great to meet you! (thinking to myself...i've heard nothing about you)
him to her: this is [redacted], you've heard me talk about her a few times.
now here i am thinking what in the hell kind of comment is that to say to both of us? did he talk shit or say good things? who knows...i went about my business and didn't give it a second thought.
jump to today:
time: 9:40 am, his name shows up on my caller id.
me: now why the hell would i answer that? ignore.
time: 9:41 am, i receive a text
him: hey! if you could, give me a call when you get this. i would like to catch up. i have a ton to talk about since i'm back in nashville.
i didn't even know he left nashville, but i'm sure as hell not following up on that missed call!

saturday DIY
i bought this print (picasso, the dog), frame (1/2 off at hobby lobby!), and white mat. i used the damask tape i got for christmas last year.
i cut the print to a smaller size, lined the tape up on the mat, and then framed. all for under $25!
i wanted this to look like my last framing project. it has been five months since my dog passed away. i plan to hang this in a place where i will...
