i have decided
that i really don’t like when people talk badly about a certain type of music/singer/band that another person likes. everyone is entitled to their own opinion and shouldn’t be made fun of because of it. music is one of the greatest ways to express your feelings. music can change your mood in a matter of seconds. music is something that some people can’t imagine their lives without. music shakes you to the core and changes lives.
whether it be taylor swift or lil wayne that you like…don’t judge someone just because their music selections are different from yours :)

Buzzfest in Nashville
I’ve always been really excited for Buzzfest each year…until now. I’m hoping that most bands are just on tour right now and they aren’t thinking that Nashville isn’t worth coming to anymore. For every country fan, there is also a rock fan. I love both kinds of music, but I enjoy going to rock shows better than country shows…there is always a much better crowd.
This year, Buzzfest is only one day…and it’s a FRIDAY. Last time I checked, people will real jobs work during the day on Friday. Anyway, here is the lineup:
Alice in Chains (clearly not with original lead singer…so won’t be as good as songs you hear on the radio)
Mudvayne (few good songs, but I’ve seen them before and they are way hardcore live)
Chevelle (seen about 3 times, definitely wouldn’t sound very good outdoors)
Cage the Elephant (who in the hell?)
Cavo (new band…has one song…how did they make the cut anyway?)
Framing Hanley (most famous for a remake of Lil Wayne, so how good can the rest of their stuff be?)
Needless to say…looks like I’ll be crossing my fingers for a better line-up next year!
